JUSTIN HUPFER, CEO

Justin is responsible for the overall operations, business development and achievement of client objectives for PolicyWorks. He previously served as Vice President of Government Affairs for the Iowa Credit Union League (ICUL), overseeing its federal and state government affairs activities and political action fundraising. Under Justin’s direction, ICUL’s political action committee and grassroots program consistently ranked among the most effective in the state. Prior to that, he worked on the Republican caucus staff in the Iowa House, staffing the House Commerce and Economic Development Committees.

ANDREA STRITZKE, VICE PRESIDENT OF REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

As Vice President of Regulatory Compliance for PolicyWorks, Andrea continuously tracks state and federal laws and regulations impacting credit unions, while assisting clients in complying with changes in the law. She delivers many of the regulatory audit products offered by PolicyWorks and has become a nationally recognized speaker on the Bank Secrecy Act, as well as lending. Prior to joining PolicyWorks, Andrea worked as a judicial clerk for the Iowa Court of Appeals. She has also worked as a staff attorney for the Nebraska Court of Appeals.

ERIN O’HERN, COMPLIANCE ATTORNEY

As PolicyWorks’ Compliance Attorney, Erin O’Hern serves as a resource for credit unions’ compliance questions, informs credit unions of new compliance requirements, and maintains a comprehensive understanding of the state and federal regulations impacting credit unions.  Erin is a resource for credit unions to stay appraised of current and future compliance deadlines.

Prior to joining PolicyWorks, Erin worked as a staff attorney for Iowa Legal Aid in the Waterloo Regional office where she handled a variety of civil law cases. Erin received her law degree from University of Iowa College of Law and graduated from the University of Iowa College of Liberal Arts with honors. She is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association.

BRIAN JOHNSON, SENIOR COMPLIANCE OFFICER

As PolicyWorks’ Senior Compliance Officer, Brian Johnson assists credit unions in evaluating their compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementing changes to achieve compliance. Brian’s work includes performing full-scale compliance audits as well as lending audits, providing individual compliance support, and managing PolicyWorks’ Shared Compliance Officer program.

Prior to joining PolicyWorks, Brian served in a variety of compliance capacities at Wells Fargo Financial for over 5 years. Brian also has experience in the property and casualty insurance industry. 

Brian received his undergraduate degree from Iowa State University and has undertaken extensive coursework related to financial institution regulatory compliance. Brian has earned CUNA’s Credit Union Compliance Expert Designation (CUCE).

JAMI WEEMS, SENIOR COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Jami Weems serves as a Senior Compliance Officer for PolicyWorks. Jami works with individual credit unions to develop, update, and administer their compliance programs. In addition, Jami is a resource for credit unions’ compliance questions and develops and delivers tools to assist credit unions in meeting their ongoing compliance responsibilities.  

Jami has spent the last 14 years serving credit unions in various capacities.   She served as an Examiner for the Iowa Division of Credit Unions, was the Chief Financial Officer for a credit union and most recently served on a credit union Board of Directors.  Jami brings a wide variety of credit union experience to the PolicyWorks team.  Prior to joining PolicyWorks, Jami was employed with Iowa College Student Aid Commission as their Director of Finance.    

Jami received her undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa.   Jami currently resides in Pleasant Hill with her spouse, Jay and their daughters, Jordan and Mackenzie.

JASON SKEMP, COMPLIANCE OFFICER

As PolicyWorks’ Compliance Officer, Jason Skemp works extensively with individual credit unions to develop, update, and administer their compliance programs. Jason’s work includes developing and reviewing compliance procedures, performing policy reviews, evaluating and recommending changes, implementing new laws and regulations, developing and conducting training, and coordinating with regulatory examiners. 

Prior to joining PolicyWorks, Jason served in a variety of compliance capacities at Dupaco Community Credit Union for over 11 years, including in the areas of member service, consumer lending, mortgage lending and operations.

Jason received his undergraduate degree from Loras College.

KYLE WOODMANSEE, COMPLIANCE OFFICER

As PolicyWorks’ Compliance Officer, Kyle works with individual credit unions to develop and review compliance procedures, perform compliance reviews related to the Bank Secrecy Act, conduct web audits, review policies, and help credit unions ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Kyle has received extensive training in the area of financial institution regulatory compliance. Prior to joining PolicyWorks, he was involved in a variety of compliance capacities related to collections and bankruptcy at Wells Fargo Financial for more than three years. During this time, Kyle also headed up implementation processes, developed efficiencies, and built operating procedures that helped Wells Fargo Financial deal with the ever changing financial environment.
