On August 12, 2013 NCUA launched the new FAQ+. This latest endeavor gives credit unions and consumers alike another level of service in NCUA’s pursuit to keeping visitors informed. Although the tool is only accessible on the Office of Small Credit Union Initiatives landing pages (it’s geared toward small credit unions, low-income and new credit unions) it gives visitors another resource to research and ask questions. Simply type in your question or a key word and hit “Ask,” the relevant search results will populate. If you can’t find what you are looking for then hit “Request FAQ+Assistance” and enter your Name, Email, Affiliation, Credit Union/Company, and pose your question. Now, I haven’t actually asked a question so I can’t say for certain what the turnaround time is but if it works as easy as it looks then it may be worth a try.
