I grew up in a state that lives for college football. The focus in Nebraska on football Saturday is centered solely around the Nebraska Cornhuskers. There is not another in-state team to divide loyalties. As a result, you assume everyone is a fan and you generally assume everyone knows everything about the coach, the quarterback, the injury list, etc. There is more information released by the media than is possible to read. Some of you may be feeling the same way about compliance.
Sometimes it is nice to have a summary of all the things that happened the past month in compliance, given the numerous rules released by the Fed, guidance by the NCUA, and so on. Here is a compilation of the most important compliance information from August, just to make sure you didn’t miss anything.
And, for those of you who might have missed the Huskers, they defeated Western Kentucky 49-10. Go Big Red!
